Earrings inspired by the motif of the golden fly associated with Queen Ahhotep I. In ancient Egypt this symbol was linked with perseverance and courage, and golden flies were used as military awards.
The original fly was found with the burial of Queen Ahhotep I in the Dra Abu el-Naga necropolis in Thebes. The earrings translate this historical motif into a contemporary, lightweight form.
